The Intern, Electrical Systems Engineer will be responsible for new PHEV vehicle electrical architecture design, analysis, integration and implementation.


  • Support Electrical Architecture Team to develop, integration, validate, and test vehicle electrical and powertrain systems. Ensure the vehicle power modings meet customer satisfactions.
  • Use engineer tools to perform the troubleshooting on vehicle EE systems and provide the recommendations for the improvement.
  • Work with platform engineers, manufacture and technicians to implement the new electrical architectures through the vehicle development cycles.
  • Maintain and upgrade Lab Car engineering working environment.
  • Write the requirement documentations or project reports to support the architecture team on variable projects on daily basis.


  • Bachelor's degree (or an equivalent degree) in Electrical / Computer / Mechanical / Industrial / Systems Engineering, or a related field of study
  • Experience with basic electrical engineering disciplines such as circuit diagrams, schematics. The individual shall be a quick leaner with a strong ability of hand on.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Prefer to have the following experiences
  • microprocessor, automotive ECU, electrical / electronic hardware, embedded software
  • automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN)
  • automotive vehicle mechanical and electrical system architectures (e.g., distributed control systems)
  • systems engineering principles, hardware and software design concepts
  • Automotive electrical system architectures and control systems.
