The Program Manager, Logistics will lead and direct the strategic planning for logistics for the company.



Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth, cost effective, safe flow of materials. 
  • Oversees warehouse, Shipping and Receiving.
  • CP Build
    • Support 2.0 CP build in build area
    • Ensure all pick list for CP are accurate
    • Resolve parts issues in the CP build area cross-functionally with Mfg. Eng., Purch. & Materials team.
    • Lead daily CP parts readiness meeting to clear up part shortage ahead of the need for build
    • Highlight concerns in parts ETA vs. need
    • Weekly reporting of status of CP parts availability
  • 2.0 BOM
    • Interview/Hire 2.0 BOM coordinator
    • Work with engineering to ensure that 2.0 BOM is accurately updated with the correct information
    • Ensure that ECR changes are captured and BOM is updated to reflect those changes
    • Validate 2.0 BOM vs. EBOM
  • PV Build
    • Plan for kitting/picking process to support PV build for 2.0
    • Work with Material flow engineer to define manpower requirements for PV Build
    • Lead parts preparation process for PV builds
    • Work with Material planning supervisor to ensure that part shortages are known and quickly cleared
  • 2.0 Launch Prep
    • Work with warehouse and Material planning Engineer to define changes that will need to be implemented in support of the 2.0 launch.
    • Work with Material flow engineer to define manpower requirements for 2.0 launch
    • Work with Material planning supervisor to ensure that part shortages are known and quickly cleared


Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor degree, with a preferred focus in Supply Chain/Planning/Operations.
  • Minimum 5 years’ Experience
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, both in verbal and written form. Strong, clear written and verbal communication skills required. Frequent interaction/contact with international counterparts and international companies.
  • A thorough knowledge of manufacturing methods, engineering drawings, symbols and other engineering documents.
  • Math Skills: Good general mathematical and statistical skills required.
  • Physical Demands: Required to sit for extended periods of time in an office environment.
